Mansfield Brewery

Riach Architects were appointed to act as Lead Consultants for the redevelopment of the Mansfield Brewery site in 2003. The practice produced a master plan for the whole site for a mixed-use development of approximately 38, 000m2. The site was to be developed in three phases. Phase one included a ‘start up’ business centre and head office facilities - granted planning permission in 2003. Phase two was submitted for planning but has yet to be determined – the scheme included a hotel, offices and retail space and residential together with parking for 1000 cars. Phase three was to convert the existing brewery tower into an eight-storey tower with a mix of industrial and office space.
